The Lions offense started slow, and it unfortunately set a trend for the rest of the game. The Lions defense held up and kept us in it for the first half, taking a small lead into the break.

The 3rd quarter started much the same as the 1st, with the team struggling to get any offensive flow. This allowed the Spartans to come back and eventually take a slim lead late in the game.

It was a 1 point game with a min to go, but unfortunately a couple Lions turnovers finished things off, and...

With a team of only 6 players, due to injuries and guys being away, the Lions headed to Dunfermline for a league game against Reign.

For the first 3 quarters it was a very stressful game to watch, the usual Lions defense was missing and it looked like any team could go on to win.

A few minutes into the 4th, the game started to open up. With the Lions offense clicking and shots starting to fall, the guys took the 4th quarter 27-17.

The Lions D1 team remain undefeated and move to 5 and 0 with a 30pt win over Spartans.

The win was never really in doubt straight from the 1st quarter, taking it 20 - 12. The 2nd quarter was a much closer contest with Spartans starting to up their game a bit, but the Lions fought back and extended the lead to double figures before the half.

The 2nd half went pretty smoothly for the home team, pushing out the lead out to 30 points the final whistle.

Lions A get there 2nd win in a row with a 13pt win over Pleasance 47s.

The game started off pretty close with Pleasance taking the first quarter by 1 point, 14 - 13. The Lions then fought back and, despite only scoring 7 in the 2nd, they held Pleasance to just the 1 point!

A very strong 3rd quarter from the Lions put the game out of reach, and resulted in a comfortable and convincing 13 point win.
